ITV’s Planet V is integrating with Caria to simplify how addressable campaigns are launched on ITVX.
From mid-October ITV will connect booking data from Planet V to Caria to provide the UK’s production and creative agency community with visibility of approved upcoming bookings, enabling creative agencies to better organise and prioritise their work, streamlining the association of creatives to bookings and reducing friction.
Dan Shawcross, VP at Caria said “We’re delighted to be working with ITV and Planet V to make it quicker and easier for agencies to get campaigns live on ITVX”
This is a view shared by Andy Kyriacou, Controller of ITV Channels, at ITV who added "We’re keen to make life as easy as possible for our clients. This is a great first step at closing the disconnect between media and creative and we’re working on how we can extend this further."
Caria is commissioned for the UK market by Clearcast, the clearance and advertising services organisation, owned by Sky, ITV and Channel 4. Stephen Hewett, Commercial Director at Clearcast, said “We’re pleased to see our investment in an API layer for Caria is being used to help both ITV, a key Clearcast shareholder, and our agency clients”.
This feature follows the introduction of copy instructions for both Cinema and for Streamers with more exciting updates to follow throughout 2025.
Please go to the Caria help centre for instructions on how to use the new functionality.
Caria is the gold-standard campaign management product, owned by Cape.io, formerly Peach, and contracted with Clearcast.
Planet V is the leading industry platform that enables the planning, buying and selling of premium addressable video advertising.
