Caria has extended its platform to include a copy instruction workflow for sponsorship campaigns carried by ITV, Channel 4 and Sky Media.
The new functionality allows agencies to manage requirements specific to sponsorship, where campaigns can vary from being long term and programme or genre based, to single live sports events with a need for flexibility due to extendable coverage time.
The workflow to date has been largely email and spreadsheet based. Systemising this in Caria provides agencies with a single uniform workflow and shared visibility with broadcasters including support for audits and versioning.
Sven Alexander, Traffic Leader at Channel 4 said “This feels like a really natural next move for us. Caria already supports our copy work for Linear and BVOD, so it just makes sense to bring Sponsorship on board too. It's the next step in making sure our partners get the best service possible”
Angela Walsh, Key Account Director at Caria said “We’re looking forward to improving the workflow for everyone and helping to automate labour intensive parts of the current process.”
Caria is commissioned for the UK market by Clearcast, the clearance and advertising services organisation, owned by Sky, ITV and Channel 4. Jo Foster, Head of Product at Clearcast, said “This is very welcome and we’re looking forward to announcing further exciting news for sponsorship in 2026”.
This feature follows the recent introduction of copy instructions for ITVX and for both cinema and for streamers.
Please go to the Caria help centre for instructions on how to use the new functionality.
Caria is the gold-standard campaign management product, owned by Cape.io, formerly Peach, and contracted with Clearcast.
